A rapid response that delivered heating fuel, warm clothing and shelter repairs before the coldest months.
Freezing winter temperatures put displaced families living in tents and damaged buildings at serious risk. Without heating and insulation, the elderly and young children are the most exposed.
Our teams distributed fuel vouchers, thermal blankets and winter clothing, and carried out emergency repairs to roofs and windows for the households least able to cope.
What to expect
- Distribute winter kits to 2,000 households
- Provide fuel support for three months
- Complete emergency shelter repairs for 400 homes
- Prioritise female-headed households and families with young children
