Mission Statement

The mission of the organization is to promote social cohesion, inclusive integration, human dignity, equality, and the protection of human rights through research, public awareness, dialogue, education, and evidence-based analysis. Guided by the principles enshrined in international human rights instruments, the organization works to foster inclusive and resilient communities where all individuals, regardless of their background, can participate fully and equally in society.

The organization is committed to advancing democratic values, strengthening social trust, and addressing barriers to integration through knowledge generation, community engagement, and constructive dialogue. By combining research with practical action, the organization seeks to contribute to a society characterized by mutual respect, equal opportunities, social justice, and peaceful coexistence.

In addition, the organization seeks to contribute to the protection and empowerment of vulnerable women and girls beyond Sweden. Through international cooperation, research, advocacy, awareness-raising, and partnerships with civil society actors, the organization aims to support women and girls who face discrimination, violence, exclusion, poverty, forced displacement, or barriers to education and participation. This work is guided by international human rights standards and a commitment to gender equality, human dignity, and the rights of women and girls worldwide.

Objectives

1. Promote Understanding of Integration Challenges and Opportunities

The organization seeks to enhance public and institutional understanding of the social, economic, cultural, and structural factors that influence integration processes. Through research, policy analysis, and public education, it aims to identify both challenges and opportunities associated with diversity and migration, while promoting evidence-based approaches that strengthen inclusion and social participation.

2. Strengthen Social Trust, Family Stability, and Community Resilience

Recognizing that strong communities are built upon trust, solidarity, and supportive family environments, the organization works to strengthen social bonds and encourage positive relationships within and between communities. Particular attention is given to preventing social exclusion, reducing polarization, and supporting family well-being as a foundation for social stability and cohesion.

3. Encourage Democratic Participation and Civic Responsibility

The organization promotes active citizenship and democratic engagement by encouraging individuals and communities to participate meaningfully in civic, social, and political life. It seeks to strengthen awareness of democratic values, rights, and responsibilities while fostering dialogue, civic participation, and informed decision-making among diverse groups.

4. Advance Human Rights, Equality, and Non-Discrimination

Grounded in the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards, the organization advocates for equal treatment, equal opportunities, and the protection of fundamental rights for all individuals. It works to identify and address barriers related to discrimination, exclusion, and inequality while promoting policies and practices that uphold human dignity and social justice.

5. Promote Peaceful Coexistence and Respect for Diversity

The organization supports intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding, and respect for diversity as essential elements of peaceful and inclusive societies. By providing reliable knowledge and practical recommendations, it aims to support policymakers, civil society actors, and communities in developing effective and sustainable solutions to contemporary social challenges.

7. Foster Dialogue and Constructive Engagement

The organization serves as a platform for dialogue among communities, institutions, researchers, policymakers, and civil society organizations. It promotes respectful exchange of perspectives and collaborative problem-solving, recognizing that sustainable social development depends on inclusive participation and mutual understanding.

8. Promote the Rights, Protection, and Empowerment of Vulnerable Women and Girls Internationally

The organization seeks to expand its activities beyond Sweden through international partnerships and projects that support vulnerable and marginalized women and girls in other countries and regions. It works to promote gender equality, access to education, protection from violence and exploitation, social inclusion, leadership opportunities, and equal participation in social and economic life.

Through research, advocacy, capacity-building, awareness-raising, and cooperation with local and international partners, the organization aims to strengthen the rights, safety, dignity, and opportunities of women and girls facing discrimination, conflict, displacement, poverty, or other forms of vulnerability. The organization is committed to supporting initiatives that advance the human rights and empowerment of women and girls in accordance with international human rights standards and the principles of equality and non-discrimination.
